Our 5th grade recently enjoyed a bus trip to the Oval Office West Wing, In Corona, CA. It is a replica of the Oval Office in Washington D.C. It started off with a Charlie Brown movie on our constitution, a tour through the oval office and time in the computer lab learning more about how the government is run and deciding what we would do if we were president.
It’s hard to believe we are already half way through our year with still so much to do. We are looking forward to our upcoming research paper, learning and practicing our fractions, and of course, this will be our 3rd year launching rockets. We are preparing by learning the scientific method in science. We have been finding our pulse and discovering what it takes to make our heart work harder or relax more.
